Manage Twitter, Facebook Messages, and More with Sendible

If you like EasyTweets for managing your Twitter account(s) and scheduling the posting of tweets, then you’ll love Sendible. It’s similar in concept to EasyTweets, but supports more accounts than just Twitter and has a larger management feature set as well. In addition to Twitter, you can also schedule messages and updates for email, SMS, Facebook (messages and status), MySpace, Orkut, Friendster, hi5 and Blogger. There will be more added to this list, making it even easier to maintain your Web presence in its entirety and keep it consistent across multiple services.

In terms of management, you’ll need a centralizing hub for tracking all these scheduled messages you’re sending out. Sendible offers reminders and the ability to import and subscribe to information such as your Facebook friends’ birthdays. Another very helpful tool is the calendar, which allows you to see upcoming and previously scheduled messages sent out across your various services. It would be great if this calendar could be synced with your iCal or Outlook, especially for power users, but Sendible’s reminder system addresses the main aspect of this particular issue, with the option of both email and SMS reminders.
The last of the notable features for Sendible is the ability to include targeted ads in your messages, which can be sent to people’s mobile phones and other messaging systems. Considering Sendible’s overall feature set, it’s clear that Sendible can easily be used as a marketing platform that sends messages on a slightly more personal level.Given this advertising option, along with the rest of Sendible’s management tools, I’m surprised to see that there’s no business or client-facing interfaces that can be used for marketing or promotional purposes on behalf of users. Anything from email and mobile phone number collection options to badges and widgets that can be used in conjunction with messaging for marketing purposes, along with public calendars and events (similar to Spongecell), could tie in with Sendible should the company decide to enable so many business-oriented features.

I had this idea in November 2007. Great to see it being implemented by another team.
The design looks nice.
I wish the sendible teamm all the best!

I love the rss import capability of EasyTweet and really wish I could find something that would do the same thing for Plurk and Identi.ca. Perhaps Sendible will add those sooner rather than later.

Ping.fm already has a pretty huge list of supported services plus an easy enough method to have any site support it.

I’ve been having issues with Ping.fm: posts are only making it to some of my services. I’ve run into a few that are having similar problems. Plus, it doesn’t have the ability to schedule posts/parse an RSS feed to posts.

With the rapid growth of Social Networking the average person is on more than one social site; many are members of several sites and at this point time management is a very real issue. The ability to have so much control from one site is a huge benefit as an organisational tool. This ultimately will save loads of time.
The ability to communicate with mobile devices and monetize messages is also a big plus. Many such apps this seems to be either phase 2 of their development or an afterthought. In this instance it makes sendible far more valuable to its users, and not doubt puts in of the radar for the networks as a possible partner or acquisition as it appears to add big value to both the users’ experience and bottom line.

Great design. Sound like a valuable service. Could be risky if put in the hands of spammers however. Found a killer tech/entrepreneurship blog check it out…. http://www.gothamtechminute.blogspot.com

I only had problems with faceboo for abit, now it’s working fine. I’m hoping they add service for Metaki, orkut, yahoo 360 and Livespaces (read my profile to see how many networks I’m on)
Between ping, switchabit, and tubemogul, I’ve been able to manage a lot of media going out.
As far as RSS goes, just use an RSS reader that emails the feed to you and direct it to the ping.fm email address you get for your account.

Loving the concept of sendible - been looking for something like this for ages. Can now combine contacts from everywhere! Woop.
Would love to see Sendible accept Gcal, Ical imports to the calendar service - also it seemd to be struggling with large facebook contact imports…
